Northbridge Insurance announces changes to Quebec leadership team

MONTRÉAL, February 5, 2024 – After an esteemed career in the Canadian insurance industry, Jean-François Béliveau, Executive Vice President Quebec region at Northbridge Insurance, will be retiring at the end of March. Jean-François Lussier will now lead the region as Senior Vice President, Quebec, effective April 1, 2024.

Since joining Northbridge in 2011, Béliveau’s operational expertise and deep understanding of the marketplace, combined with his close, longstanding business relationships with our broker partners, enabled exceptional success in the region. Under his leadership, Northbridge became the second largest commercial insurer in Quebec.

“I have greatly enjoyed my time at Northbridge, during which I worked closely with all of our exceptional employees and broker partners in Quebec,” said Béliveau. “I am confident I am leaving the region in capable hands with Jean-François Lussier. He will bring the same innovative and energetic leadership to the role that he’s already known for at Northbridge.”

Lussier joined Northbridge in 2019 as Vice President, Sales and Distribution for Quebec. Working closely with the Quebec team, he successfully deepened relationships with broker partners bringing significant new business growth.

“Jean-François Béliveau’s strong leadership and visionary mindset have been invaluable in helping position Northbridge as a leader in the region. While he will be greatly missed, I am looking forward to continuing to build our market position in Quebec in collaboration with our broker partners,” said Lussier. “I am proud of the work our team has accomplished so far and hope to build on this momentum in the years to come.”
