Anjou, Quebec, August 25, 2026 – Northbridge Insurance celebrated Groupe Morneau as the National Winner of the 2026 Northbridge Insurance Transportation Safety Award on Tuesday, August 25, at Morneau GEO in Anjou, Quebec. Representatives from Groupe Morneau, Northbridge Insurance, HUB International, and industry partners gathered for a recognition ceremony to celebrate the company’s achievement and commitment to transportation safety excellence.
The Northbridge Insurance Transportation Safety Award recognizes carriers that adopt and advance safety standards in the Canadian trucking industry. Now in its sixth year, the award reflects Northbridge’s longstanding commitment to helping transportation companies manage risks on and off the road and recognizes organizations that demonstrate excellence in safety management and high operational standards.
Accepting the award on behalf of Groupe Morneau, David Morneau, Co-President, Groupe Morneau, reflected on the importance of accountability in the company’s operations.

Launched in 2021, the Northbridge Insurance Transportation Safety Award was created to recognize carriers with industry-leading management practices. Each year, finalists, regional winners, and a national winner are selected based on several factors, including performance on Northbridge’s Transportation Best Practices Profile, commitment to compliance, driver management, risk management, on-road performance, claims management, and industry engagement.
To be eligible for the award, carriers must have been policyholders for at least two consecutive years, demonstrate a company-wide commitment to safety and continuous improvement, and maintain a strong partnership with Northbridge Insurance.
