Toronto, April 27, 2026 – Northbridge Insurance is proud to announce that Groupe Morneau is the national winner of the 2026 Northbridge Insurance Transportation Safety Award. In addition to the national award, Northbridge also presents three regional awards recognizing carriers in Ontario, Western Canada and Atlantic Canada. This year’s regional winners are Titanium Transportation Group Inc., J.D.A. Ventures Ltd. and Classic Freight Systems.
The Northbridge Insurance Transportation Safety Award recognizes trucking carriers who adopt and advance safety standards in the Canadian transportation industry. Now in its sixth year, the award reflects Northbridge’s longstanding commitment to helping transportation companies manage risks on and off the road, and the dedication of customer carriers to upholding the highest safety standards.

Each year, finalists, regional winners, and a national winner are selected based on several factors. These criteria include the carrier’s achievements on Northbridge’s Transportation Best Practices Profile, which benchmarks safety performance using 100 per cent Canadian trucking data. This assessment evaluates their commitment to compliance, driver management, and risk management. Other factors are also assessed including on-road performance, claims management, and industry engagement.

Among the 2026 winners are two carriers that were named first-time finalists: North 60 Petro and RB Curry Auto Transport.
