Toronto, March 25, 2024 – Northbridge Insurance is proud to announce their new construction bursary program in partnership with the Nova Scotia Community College (NSCC), a leading trade school in Atlantic Canada that offers practical, hands-on programs.
With the constant need for infrastructure development, coupled with the current labour shortage, the demand for skilled construction professionals has never been higher. The Northbridge Construction Bursary Program aims to help shape the next generation of highly skilled professionals who will bring their expertise, innovation, and commitment to an industry in need of their skills.
Open to eligible students at the Nova Scotia Community College, this bursary provides financial assistance to aspiring professionals enrolled in construction management, masonry, carpentry, or electrical programs. A total of 10 bursaries valued at $5,000 per student will be granted in the Spring and Fall of 2024. Bursary recipients will be selected by the NSCC Student Awards Office based on the application criteria, academic standing, and financial need.
